Who Am I?

Well, I am a boomer, who has lived a long life and done many things. At 71, I learned I had ADHD and it has been a year of growth and change since then. You will soon see a post about ADHD and my own experience with it.
I just retired permanently, after returning to work after an early retirement at 62. The last few years of working were a real trial – both body and soul – but I am grateful I had the opportunities because I learned so much about myself.
At my last job, I had the opportunity to take the Clifton Strengths test, by Gallup, which first opened my eyes to what my strengths were, and I embraced them. I learned that my primary trait is that I am an Activator, someone who gets things started and change to happen. I had been cruising along through about fifteen years subduing that part of myself. So, now I’ve pulled myself together and decided to act on it.
Because I worked at a community college and there were tuition waivers for employees, I took two behavioral science classes, and again learned so much about myself and why I love the science of psychology so much.
So, here I am. Making a new life of these discoveries. And, hopefully, a difference in other people's lives.
So, let’s go!
